Free Public Sector Event: Agile Development Using Visual Studio ALM

June 25 | FREE online training event

Northwest Cadence, in partnership with Microsoft’s Public Sector Developer Tools team, has delivered several Visual Studio 12 events across multiple cities this past quarter. We weren’t able to reach everyone, and wanted to create a remote version of this VS 12 Public Sector event for you to attend!

If you already attended one of our VS 12 live events, much of this content will be repeated. If you weren’t able to attend one of the VS 12 live events, you won’t want to miss this!

Event Abstract

Modern application development demands the highest levels of quality, and constant feedback with your stakeholders to ensure satisfaction. Proven agile techniques can give your organization that and more – the flexibility to respond when unexpected challenges (or opportunities!) call for a change in direction. Join Microsoft and Northwest Cadence for this deep dive into application lifecycle management.

We’ll start with an overview of Microsoft’s ALM strategy and tools, including features available in Visual Studio 2012 and Team Foundation Server 2012 as well as all-new capabilities in Visual Studio 12 and Team Foundation Server. Next we’ll learn about agile processes, investigate agile planning and reporting, and then cover a critical need for agile teams: agile testing, both human and automated, using first-class quality tools.
