If the integration of SharePoint 2013 and TFS 2012 goes poorly, it may be necessary to uninstall/reconfigure your SharePoint Extensions. The location of this option however, is not easy to locate.

You may end up with a screen that looks something similar to the above.

After an hour of searching, I finally located the option to remove the installed SharePoint Extension.

Problem solved – you can then reinstall your SharePoint Extensions as normal.

Thank goodness someone put this out there. Was going crazy looking for a way to remove the extensions so I could reconfigure them.

Ran into this exact problem. Unfortunately the installation was so messed up that the UI option wasn’t there. Thankfully, there is a command line option! “tfsconfig setup /uninstall:sharepointextensions” Worked like a charm!

I dont think this will un-install the tool, this will only remove the configuration of the feature.

For uninstall, you have to do the step mentioned in this blog (and optionnaly but i did it, i did the command line mentioned by Dan Wood below, consider that the location of the tool will be on “C:Program FilesMicrosoft Team Foundation Server 12.0ToolsTfsConfig.exe”
Then you need to go for the normal steps
