Your Data. Your Control.
Visual Cadence is a data extraction, transformation, and reporting tool. It gathers DevOps information from Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and makes it readily available to end users. The goal for Visual Cadence is to give you back control of your data so you can create reports for running your development teams, improving your processes, and complying with regulations and auditors.
Limited Private Beta for Paid Features
We are looking for a few more accounts interested in joining our private beta. The ideal private beta account has activity across nearly all features in Visual Studio Team Services. This will allow us to enable additional data collectors for your account. Private beta accounts are expected to actively provide feedback on feature development. Please visit the Visual Cadence Private Beta Signup if you are interested in participating.
Why Visual Cadence?
It’s common for teams moving from TFS to VSTS to be shocked by the inability to report on their own data. Although VSTS provides powerful work item queries, charting capabilities, and even preview access to streaming work item data, it currently provides no easy way to create custom reports on build and release cadence, code commit metrics, or even test run result data!
Visual Cadence makes all that data available to you, in an easy to use Azure SQL Database. Use our provided Power BI template to get started immediately, or simply connect the reporting tool of your choice. Either way, you get the data you need, in a format you can use, so you can understand and improve your software delivery process.
To get started, install the extension, then visit Getting Started with Visual Cadence to learn how the extension works, review configuration instructions, and download the Power BI template.
